ThreatDown EDR and Smarter Security.
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates ThreatDown EDR from other similar products?
In a communications company like ours, where uptime and data integrity are non-negotiable, endpoint security has to be more than just reactive—it needs to be proactive, intelligent, and efficient. That’s exactly what ThreatDown EDR brings to the table.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
What really makes a difference is the forensic-level visibility it provides. We don’t just get an alert saying “something suspicious happened”—we get a full timeline of events, including what process triggered it, which files were modified, and what network connections were made. That level of detail makes investigations faster and helps us understand whether an issue is a minor misconfiguration or an actual threat that needs escalation.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The UI’s learning curve.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
ThreatDown has significantly reduced the number of security incidents we have to manually investigate, and the automation features help us contain threats without waiting on human intervention. Its lightweight agent also ensures that security doesn’t come at the cost
