What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
Tableau is surprisingly easy to learn for such a sophisticated application. The drag-and-drop interface is incredibly easy to use. In only a few minutes, you can connect to your data and start making charts. This is considerably different from some old business intelligence systems that made you write code for everything.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The "show me" option is great. I may choose the data I want to see, and Tableau will suggest the best type of visualization for that data. It's a terrific tool for beginners who don't know if they should use a bar chart or a line chart. It teaches you how to visualize data in the best way.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It can be too simplistic for modeling data that is really complicated. Before you put your data into Tableau, you frequently need to get it ready.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You will appreciate using Tableau if you want a strong BI product that is also fun and easy to master.
Pros
