What differentiates Sophos Firewall from other similar products?

The great differential of this product is the low acquisition cost combined with the technologies embedded in this next generation firewall. With Sophos we were able to buy superior and more robust equipment for the price of a competitor's entry. Support and warranty are excellent and very efficient as well.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We have two Sophos XG appliances in a redundant active / standby scenario to avoid any type of failure and the network can always be secure. I like a lot of things in this device, but what attracted me the most is its infinite advanced features with a graphical interface that is easy to use and read the data. Everything is very well detailed and you feel in complete control of the network. It is able to block applications, websites, malware, URLs and everything that is necessary for the good functioning of the network.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The experience has been great for Sophos in a redundancy scenario. So far we have not faced any serious technical problems and we do not need to open a ticket with support. Everything works ok and without problems. I have no complaints yet.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I advise you to check the license packages with advanced protection and sandboxing to protect against attacks by various malware. It is interesting to have warranty contracts of at least 3 years also to avoid headaches.
