What is your favorite aspect of this product?

When it comes to visualizing designs from beginning to end, SketchUp is an excellent tool to use. Any stage of the design process, whether conceptual, site development, or structural, are all appropriate times to implement its utilization. In addition to this, it is an excellent method for selling your company and assisting your customers in imagining their new homes.

What do you dislike most about this product?

SketchUp's import compatibility with other modeling programs needs improvement. Adding tools that extend consistently regardless of size or factors that cause slopes, such winding roads or highways, would make last-minute changes easier. Restoring PDF import without a third-party plugin. PDFs are sometimes the only file format accessible.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Recognize the constraints that come with using this product. Contrary to software like Revit, SketchUp was not developed with the purpose of producing Construction Documents. Customers like it as an additional tool that helps them better understand the design idea at hand.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I really like to see in SketchUp is improved import compatibility with other modeling tools. The addition of additional design tools, such as tools that extend uniformly regardless of size or elements that produce slopes, such as winding routes or roadways, would make it simpler to make last-minute tweaks or revisions. Restoring the ability to directly import PDF files into SketchUP without the need of a third-party plugin. At times, we are limited to using PDFs since they are the only available file format.

Recognize the limitations of this software. Software like Revit is designed to create Construction Documents, but SketchUp isn't. Clients like it as an extra tool for better grasping the design concept in question.

What differentiates SketchUp from other similar products?

Actually, the speed of modelling, easiness, and the massive amount of tools it provides relatively to the cost. Other applications request tons of money for the same features. However, My college who is an architect engineer design a fantastic models using SketchUp and he prefers using it instead of other applications such as 3D-MAX because of the price and the speed.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Everything starting from the Textures, 3D modelling, 2-D sketches, Animations, and ending with the lighting effects

What do you dislike most about this product?

The integration between other tools such as V-Ray. Sketchup will make a very good practice if they own their own native render tool. Sometimes It gives me "Don't Panic" error when I render something and there is a problem with the V-Ray. But, As I said, V-Ray team is very helpful and cooperative.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This Application is a real big deal! You can design a massive plants with excellent results. No need to buy and use a heavy applications that will deliver the same objectives.
