What differentiates Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement from other similar products?
Not used other products extensively to comment on this. But Pardot in general is a very intuitive tool. We use it for email nurturing and it does a fantastic job for us.

The customization at each level for nurturing is something we use a lot
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing at the moment
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Spend some time using all the features. Watch videos on youtube, connect with their team. A lot of peers I spoke to who use Pardot, have barely used 50% of the functionalities!
