What differentiates Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement from other similar products?

Unlimited capabilities and features. Whatever you could possibly want to do to engage with your customer is likely possible.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The sky is the limit. When you put in the time to set it up to where SF pardot works for you - it increases efficiency and can help businesses scale rapidly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Initial training and customer support could be enhanced (less up-sell driven and more consumer experience focused). It is difficult to know and understand the customer journey you want to create and it would be helpful for SF to have consultants help clients explore the capabilities while also helping them begin the buildout - instead of trying to figure it out in a vacuum.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Give more graciously. Don't charge for additional support. Focus on retention vs acquisition. SF is a stellar product and clients will keep it if they feel supported (i.e. less transactional more support focused).

What differentiates Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement from other similar products?

Powerful data integration and customization - for reporting. For processes and business flows it takes a lot of effort to customize or to adapt to existing processes. Unless your attribution and handoff is based on Salesforce's linear logic, it won't fit out of the box.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Power to connect, edit and customize data from the source to make it even across the board.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Lack of visibility or data drill-down: You can't pull out a simple report table even if integrated with Salesforce and you always end up using Tableau or Excel to narrow down. Like for a Pardot's lead page values history.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Consider the time to spend in the deployment versus the time for ongoing implementation and daily management. Without a robust process in place or understanding of notions such as Contact - Lead, the stakeholders in an organization will be in the dark about many things as per the natural SFDC logic.

What differentiates Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement from other similar products?

Pardot has great features but the platform isn't very user-friendly. Customization in nurture campaigns can not be done by hours (only in days). Reporting of engagement studios created is not very crystal clear.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Salesforce syncing since they are similar company product.

What do you dislike most about this product?

- User friendly - Reporting on Engagement studio - You have to manually upload data via excel during implementation phase

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be very vigilant while implementing. Most automation doesn't show real-time data.
