Qualys VMDR stands out because it brings four things—asset discovery, vulnerability detection, prioritization, and remediation—into one single workflow. Unlike other tools that handle these steps separately, VMDR gives you a unified dashboard, automatic risk ranking, and built-in patching, so you fix the most important issues faster and with less manual effort.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of Qualys VMDR is its real-time asset visibility. Everything—devices, apps, and vulnerabilities—updates automatically, so you always know what’s in your environment without chasing data from multiple tools. It makes the whole process faster and far more accurate.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There isn’t anything I strongly dislike about Qualys VMDR, but it can feel a bit overwhelming at first because it offers so many features. Once you get used to it, though, it becomes very smooth to work with
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I’d recommend taking some time to explore all the modules, because Qualys VMDR becomes much more powerful once you understand its full workflow. Start with asset inventory, set up automated scans, and use its prioritization feature—it really helps you focus on what matters most.
