Tailor-made for straightforward, easy to use resource management and planning.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Doesn't take an army to implement and administer. Perfect size for our smaller org to solve one particular problem and solve it well.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Saving your work isn't automatic and could be more intuitive.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Not your best choice if you want an expansive, comprehensive PPM - but perfect for a small to midsized org looking to solve people allocation and availability across initiatives and other work.

What differentiates PDWare ResourceFirst from other similar products?
Good balance between resource management and portfolio management. The ability to generate reports using the built in QlikView tool is a huge advantage. Great support from the PDWare team, and this product is reasonably priced!
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
There are many! I would say the ability of our team to generate customized reports is one of the biggest advantages. This gives our management team the ability to view reports on demand and helps with decision making.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It would be good to have more frequent major software releases
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
List out your absolute 'must have' requirements then compare the products. Look at the features, price points, the number of people supporting the product, their collective experience levels, and the number of years the product has been on the market. The product support, in my view, is ultimately what makes this product a compelling candidate.
