Great product, less relevant with the rise of AI

What differentiates MarketMuse from other similar products?
I have gotten to know MarketMuse founder, Jeff Coyle, in both this position and my last role, and I believe his knowledge of software practices and SEO are a big difference-maker for the service. The issue is that MarketMuse doesn't add new features as fast as AI is evolving, so it is becoming increasingly less relevant in the current marketplace.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love the Newsroom feature. As someone who has written content on tight deadlines in multiple industries, Newsroom is very useful for me to be able to quickly compare what competitors are doing + see which keywords I need to include to rank well. I'm also a big fan of briefs -- these are an easy way to create high-ranking, evergreen content about nearly any topic you can imagine.
What do you dislike most about this product?
My biggest issue with MM is that the service can be sporadic and they are expensive for what they actually are. I really do like the product but I think it's overpriced. In addition, with my company's most recent contract, we were promised an exclusive level of service we really didn't receive.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would tell them to know what they are going to use the product for before purchasing. You get the most value out of MM if you have clear plan for how to utilize it. If you don't, you can get bogged down in all of the features and become overwhelmed/unsure of how everything fits together to create the best possible content.

What differentiates MarketMuse from other similar products?
MarketMuse provides an entire suite of SEO tools in one package that makes it easy to use. Previously, I was bouncing around between different optimization softwares. With MarketMuse, everything was just a click away in one dashboard.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The audit and optimization tools were my favorite part of MarketMuse. Not only does it show gaps in my current long-form content, but it helps me see how I can optimize my current content to be more competitive (rather than having to write a whole new piece from scratch).
What do you dislike most about this product?
The cost. I understand high-quality software requires buy-in, but when the free version of MarketMuse limits the capabilities of the software, it can be a hard sell.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Give it a shot! It helped me create stronger content and establish greater authority.

What differentiates MarketMuse from other similar products?
MarketMuse is easy to use and incredibly powerful, with great value to provide for beginning SEO practitioners to experts. We saw outstanding results again and again by using the product to optimize content. I have been a user since 2015 and have brought the product to several companies because it is remarkable.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Content optimization tools are simple, with robust methodology and immediate actionability.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Content formatting was lost in cut-paste.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Try the low-cost version and be convinced. It really is remarkable. But don't limit your usage to content optimization only. There are many powerful tools available.
