What differentiates Locker Password Manager from other similar products?
Digital Sovereignty is important, and we wanted to avoid both China, Russia, and the United States. Many alternatives to Locker Password Manager, however, are founded, managed, owned, or have offices in China, Russia, and the United States, while the company behind Locker Password Manager, did not, which was a selling point. Additionally, this is the only password manager I know that enforces 3-step verification. A code is sent to our email, then we use the code from our security authentication app, and finally we enter our password. The fact that it does it in that order, preventing someone from randomly guessing your password.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Ease of use over many different devices and web browsers, while keeping things secure with 3-step verification. Furthermore, your login expires after two weeks, which means you must sign back in. This means a random unused device cannot resurface one day accessing everything. That fact adds to the layer of protection.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Import migration needs improvement. When importing from previous solutions, we ended up with double or sometimes triple entries. A away to quickly and easily filter out repeat entries would have been nice.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Enable authentication. This is the only password manager I know that enforces 3-step verification and it is less worth it. A code is sent to our email, then we use the code from our security authentication app, and finally we enter our password. The fact that it does it in that order, preventing someone from randomly guessing a password is important.
