What differentiates KNIME from other similar products?
Since it's open-source great for students and low to mid-size organizations that don't know if the paid apps are worth the purchase and useful for the team. Before purchasing Alteryx we tried with KNIME and explored the opportunities a data analytical tool can provide. Secondly, its GUI is very attractive a bit overdo but good for beginners because it gives visual cues to understand the results.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is free of course and it's still a powerful tool compared to its competitors and even some of the paid ones. We still run some of our workflows in KNIME even though we have Alteryx. Secondly, there are a variety of tools that are available in any other ETL tools a plus is for each tool we know if the workflow is successfully run or not so the feedback while running workflow is awesome.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Probably nothing, its the best free tool in the market.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Don't wait try it today, also it offers workflow scheduling so there are no limits to what you can automate or calculate.
