What differentiates Jama Connect from other similar products?
Jama Connect is easy to adopt and start using out of the gate. Very intuitive and simple. This comes in handy when working with other business units that may be somewhat unfamiliar with requirements and project management platforms. Jama Connect makes collaboration much easier without having to spend days in training to learn the functionality. I've used a few other products, and I feel that Jama does traceability better than anyone else. It's definitely a strength.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love how easy it is to use. It really is plug and play. Even the most novice users can start using Jama Connect immediately. I also like how we can reuse requirements from one project to another. Make it easier on my team when we don't have to reenter commonly used requirements.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Training is lacking, but I feel like it isn't that big of a deal because the system is so easy to use. I didn't love the folder tree functionality at first, but it does make it easy to navigate and find what I'm looking for.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I believe they could make a better walkthrough video, but there are enough resources other places to accomplish the same thing (i.e. YouTube).
