What differentiates Google Drive from other similar products?
Google Backup and Sync was recently replaced with the new Drive for desktop applications, which performs better. I can quickly search Google Drive for files. Some file formats can be previewed directly in Google Drive; I don’t need to download the file or launch another programme. File organisation is quite simple using the drag-and-drop user interface. I can simultaneously upload numerous files and folders to Google Drive and track the status of each upload in the queue.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Google Drive offers a useful and speedy substitute to connecting through VPN to access the network-based file-sharing folder we had been using, allowing us to collaborate easily and keep our shared documents/files as we continue to work remotely. Having an almost faultless app also really speeds up things!
What do you dislike most about this product?
The Google Drive app and procedure for locally synchronising data are constantly changing. I’ve had to learn three syncing programmes over the last four years for this at work. I used to have the option to open a file or folder location in a new tab while exploring Google Drive. I miss that functionality, which was discontinued in recent years. For whatever reason, it is no longer accessible in Google Drive, although it is still accessible in other Google programmes, such as Gmail.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
When a user has to upload and download several files with various people, Google Drive is fantastic. It works well when combined with other Google-based products.

Google Drive sets itself apart because it is a core part of your Google account, which means it is readily accessible on all of your devices. It is very intuitive to use and is a great way to transfer files.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love that Google Drive can be integrated with many third-party apps and platforms. I use it often to store data collected from various web forms.
What do you dislike most about this product?
As with many other products, upgrades can quickly become costly.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Just know that your files are not securely encrypted and may be vulnerable.
