It also improves the centralization of management and visibility into their networks, making it easier for organizations to achieve efficient functioning while at the same time having strong security postures for their networks.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The highlight of FortiManager is the centralized management of Fortinet devices since it is possible to manage several devices at once. It also optimizes operations while helping the framework consolidate policy implementation and arriving at a more standard level of security for the network structures.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The thing that can be considered as a disadvantage of FortiManager is that it has high complexity especially if the person using it is not a techie. This can install difficulty in understand and learn most of the features and its many configurations, which can delay the use of the overall platform.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
To anyone using or planning on using FortiManager, I suggest dedicating time in proper learning and orientation in the platform. Knowledge of the many features and how or why these work will improve your way of handling security a great deal.

how it centralizes control and simplifies configuration and policy management across multiple devices, which is crucial for large networks with lots of endpoints.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
it makes managing multiple Fortinet devices across different locations so much easier. I can push updates, monitor logs, and adjust security policies all from one interface
What do you dislike most about this product?
It’s not always the most intuitive, and it can sometimes take a bit longer than I’d like to find specific settings or logs

If your network relies heavily on Fortinet products, FortiManager is essential. It provides a level of centralized control that’s tough to beat

What differentiates FortiManager from other similar products?
The policy-based automation and zero touch provision reducing manual configuration errors at the same time speeding up deployment of new firewalls The configuration revision control , rollback capabilities and change tracking and this helps our firm to track changes and still revert configurations when something breaks which is critical in finance as network changes must be documented and any change must be audited.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Automation which reduces human errors and this improves network stability and security
What do you dislike most about this product?
Only works best in Fortinet environment and is not ideal for multi-vendor environments making firms require additional management tools
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Use this tool only if your firm mostly uses Fortinet firewalls and security devices to avoid need for additional management tools
