It includes features to automate tasks and increase productivity such as comparing drawings, counting, adding objects, and creating tables. It also comes with seven industry-specific toolsets for electrical design, plant design, architecture layout drawings, mechanical design, 3D mapping, adding scanned images, and converting raster images. AutoCAD enables users to create, edit, and annotate drawings via desktop, web, and mobile devices.

What differentiates AutoCAD from other similar products?
Its snapping tools exact coordinate entry and millimeter level control make it far more accurate for technical drafting than general 3D modeling tools
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love how reliable it is for creating clean technical diagrams. you get total control over exact millimeter dimensions and layer colors which keeps complex engineering layouts organized and easy to read
What do you dislike most about this product?
when you load up an extremely detailed engineering layout with thousands of elements then the software sometimes freezes or becomes very sluggish to navigate
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Do not rely on clicking icons in the ribbon interface. memorizing keyboard shortcuts will drastically speed up your daily drafting workflow.

What differentiates AutoCAD from other similar products?
Very popular and standard across the industry. Unaware of any other software that is as widely used as AutoCAD.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The user interface is very good and simply to understand. Also the inclusion of 3D modeling capabilities is very nice.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are some tools that I just do not use. Great to have it but I will likely never interface with it.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are looking for a reliable and good 2D CAD software, AutoCAD is the way to go.
