What differentiates Appium from other similar products?

From my perspective, it allows cross-platform mobile testing (Android and iOS) using the same code and supports multiple programming languages.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It uses simple languages like Java, Python, JavaScript and there is no need to change app code (black-box testing). Also, another important factor is- it supports both Android and iOS testing with a single automation framework.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Test execution can be slow and sometimes tests become unstable

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend learning the setup properly and using good frameworks to handle stability issues for better results

What I dislike most about Appium is that it can be slow and complex to set up, with frequent flakiness in tests, especially when handling mobile gestures or device-specific issues.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I had recommend Appium if you need cross-platform mobile testing with language flexibility, but be prepared to invest time in setup, infrastructure, and handling test flakiness especially for complex mobile interactions.
