Amazon ec2 has first mover advantage. Very simple and easy to use interface and features compared to its competition.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Elasticity as the name indicates Elastic Compute cloud, load balancing is just great.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Cost might create issue if not properly optimized as per use.

Cost optimization is very important when you are using any service from the AWS stack. So plan according to your needs.

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
The Managing and use of VM directly in much easy in EC2 rather than other products in the market. One click creation on instances , taking backups , managing storage , fetching and controlling reports all comes at one place and very much easy to use.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Amazon technical support for this is just wonderful. Queries are mostly resolved with in a day. Additionally the best part is managing and rollback from the backups.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Integration and connecting through SSH needs to be worked on ,as it cause multiple issues.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Very nice product to manage the VMs directly without any issues in virtual cloud.
