What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
Amazon EC2 is useful when you need full control over how your application is deployed. Whether it’s hosting a backend API, running a Node/.NET service, or even serving frontend builds, EC2 lets you configure everything at the OS level. Compared to managed platforms, it gives more flexibility but also more responsibility.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
how easy it is to spin up an instance and deploy your app. You can set up your environment exactly the way you want install dependencies, configure servers like Nginx/IIS, and connect to databases. It’s especially useful when working on custom setups or handling specific deployment requirements.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The downside is the operational overhead. You have to manage updates, security patches, scaling, and monitoring yourself. It’s not as straightforward as PaaS solutions, especially for teams that want minimal infrastructure management.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Good choice if your project needs flexibility and custom configuration. Works well for hosting full stack apps where you control both frontend and backend deployments. For simpler use cases, combining EC2 with managed services or considering serverless options can reduce maintenance effort.

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
Amazon EC2 is great product i am using it since 2016 and till now i haven't moved to any other vendors since it is always stay upto date and always updated with the new functionalities and gives very flexibility in terms of funtionalities like:- 1.Elasticity 2.Workload distribution 3.Pricing 4.Avalibility all these are of top notch and always liked it.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
There are multiple aspect which i like: 1.Quite open for any distribution either it is linux, window, redhat linux 2.UI is good and simple 3.Tracking of usage is easy 4.Pricing is good 5.Integration with other products are easy 5.99.99% availability
What do you dislike most about this product?
As it is growing with market so fast it is also adaption AI and new suggestion to select image at times it get confusing and documentation is not every time up to date.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Amazing product by AWS to host all your application without any hassle and downtime.
