After you've completed your negotiations, it's time to identify what went well, why it went well, what didn't go well, and why it didn't go well. This phase will take you through three distinct evaluations that are conducted at various points:

  • Post Mortem 1: immediately after negotiations conclude
  • Implementation assessment: 2 to 6 months after negotiations conclude
  • Post Mortem 2: 1 to 6 months prior to contract expiration or renewal
