A cash flow statement (CFS) complements the income statement and balance sheet, so these financial statements must be in agreement with one another.

The CFS includes:

  • Company sources and uses of cash.
  • Beginning and ending cash values during a specified period.
  • Combined total change in cash from all sources and uses of cash.
