IT organizations have to reinvent themselves and redesign their IT operating models to help leverage technology that has a competitive differentiator. The most fundamental aspect to IT operating model design is to identify services that are to be standardized vs. locally optimized. These service expectations will drive the governance, process, and team structures of the IT operating model.
