The disaster recovery plan (DRP) process uncovers gaps in your current recovery capabilities, including potential gaps related to your vendors. Use the DRP Vendor Evaluation Questionnaire and Tool to assess potential gaps and confirm whether your vendors can meet your DR requirements.
The questionnaire captures the following type of information:
- The vendor’s DRP status.
- Maximum downtime and data loss commitments (if this is already be covered by your SLA, capture any changes in their standard commitments from when you first signed the vendor agreement).
- Additional service offerings or support packages that could reduce potential downtime or data loss.
