Test Plan Template

A test plan document describes the scope, approach, resources, and schedule of intended testing activities for a specific system, product, or team. It identifies test items, the features to be tested, the testing tasks, who will do each task, the test environment, the test design techniques, entry and exit criteria, the rationale for the choice of tests, and any risks requiring contingency planning. Use this template as part of the blueprint Build a Software Quality Assurance Program.
