It is essential that project milestones be defined and tracked in order to stay on top of progress.

The Project Milestones Report:

  • Is distributed prior to the project kick-off meeting to establish expectations and estimated delivery timelines.
  • Communicates the baseline project plan to key stakeholders.
  • Is developed and distributed only after the project plan has been set.

Use the template to insert all appropriate information, such as key events, milestones, estimated delivery dates, and a copy of the project plan, if possible, to keep management and/or project sponsors informed.
