Design Data-as-a-Service – Phase 1: Understand Data Ecosystem

Data is now being compared to oil or key asset. However, it lacks an ecosystem that is comparable to an ecosystem of traditional assets or commodities. Data valuation for publicly traded data assets can easily be derived from marketplace valuation. Data marketplace is still in its infancy. Organization must re-evaluate its data strategy to ensure they are investing in appropriate data domains.
