As various segments of the tourism industry shut down, prepare to close, or experience a rapid decrease in guest occupation, know that this will not last. Historical cycles following 9/11, SARS, and the 2008-09 recession have all provided insight into a resilient industry that will rapidly recover. The industry can and will get through this time by being innovative, being prepared, and communicating regularly.
