In a recent project, we looked at blockchain startup Trive and its pursuit of a fact-checking truth database. It seems obvious and likely that competition will spring up. After all, who wouldn’t want to guarantee the preservation of facts? Or, perhaps it’s more that lots of people would like to control what is perceived as truth. With the recent coming out party of IBM’s Debater, this next step in our journey brings artificial intelligence into the conversation – quite literally.
