Jimmy Tom is a Research Advisor at Info-Tech Research Group with extensive experience managing the full spectrum of IT operations, infrastructure, and security in diverse industries, in both public and private sectors.
Prior to joining Info-Tech, Jimmy spent twelve years in education, two in K-12 and ten in post-secondary, where he was responsible for IT strategy, operations and infrastructure. Jimmy spent the balance of his career at software development companies, the Canadian Department of National Defence and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. During his career, Jimmy was responsible for service desks, networks, servers, data storage, enterprise applications, data center operations, telecommunications, IT security, disaster recovery and IT project management.
