Retention schedules are crucial inputs for technology projects involving records management and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM). A retention schedule stipulates how long electronic documents and records should be retained by an enterprise.

The template includes suggested retention periods but it must be modified to conform to applicable local laws and enterprise policies.
