HP and AMD CEOs have outlined four future megatrends – Artificial Intelligence, Hybrid Work, Resilience, and Mistrust – driving the technology brands' strategy. HP has acknowledged the possibility of declining revenue in HP's existing market and is focusing on creating new product categories to drive growth. Lores identified the AI and hybrid work trends as opportunities for HP to design products for people designing algorithms and AI as well as meeting rooms where videoconferencing capabilities are likely to increase significantly. Dr. Su emphasizes that talent and more diversity – including more women in tech – will be required to manage challenging problems. In a trust crisis, Lores sees investing in sustainability and building relationships as an answer for HP that goes beyond making money every quarter.
