What differentiates ManageEngine Endpoint Central from other similar products?
Endpoint Central grants ease of use in collecting data on endpoint devices and maintaining them. Additionally, it allows for efficient patch automation and remote software deployment. The reporting features of the software suite are also beneficial and actionable and allow for a full breadth of my organization’s devices.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Allowing a centralized console to manage patch deployment and software maintenance.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I believe the menus could be condensed or standardized. Certain parts of Endpoint Central feel older than others or harder to navigate and can make the experience jarring for new users. Focus on improving the UX and UI.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would encourage upon integrating the product to configure automated patch deployments and upload commonly used softwares for your organization. Endpoint Central is great for businesses with multiple sites and those with smaller shops.

I love that is has all the features I was needing and was cheaper than some. It also looks better than some as well.

I can’t really say I have any issues with this.

This product is similar to Sccm but is cheaper and is more user friendly

What differentiates ManageEngine Endpoint Central from other similar products?
I have been using Desktop Central for the last 3 years, and it has been a fantastic experience. Below are the specifics which were best about Endpoint Central a. Deploying the application is very easy as you get access 50K+ applications in handy. b.Deploying patches at both OS level and Application level is exact and simple c.Displaying information about any zero-day vulnerability which has been released d.Creating Custom Group with respect to Computers and users e.Scheduling reports to be sent directly to the mailbox and generating custom reports like details about specific software on all endpoints, etc.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
As per my usage of the product below are my favourite aspects a. Easy access to 50K+ application repositories. b. Browser Control can be implemented easily. c. Whitelisting and Blocking of the application is much easier.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I won't see any specific thing about dislike as each time the Endpoint Management tool is expanding. But I have faced a couple of issues a. Deploying configuration on used-based was failing continuously for me. b. IT is tough to get the status of the device encryption. When force encryption is deployed it does get applied, but the result is not displayed back in the configuration. c. Postgre SQL knowledge is needed for query reports.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Anyone willing to purchase the product please go ahead without a thought. The simple UI and easy navigation will help you easily navigate to any option. Deploying of patches, application updates, application installation and uninstallation becomes easier compared to other tools like SCCM, Intune or patchmyPC.I am delighted to say that you will have a good product specialist to discuss your issues at any point in time. Managing the endpoint on the infrastructure becomes significantly much easier.
