Treating all transactions as the same will dilute the available resources and cause either over- or under-provisioning of support for each transaction. Regardless of how you measure performance, there is going to be overhead cost; make sure you focus on the most critical transactions before considering other transactions. The Transaction Impact Analysis Tool will be used across all three phases of the blueprint and covers the following areas:
- Documenting transactions and dependencies.
- Creating a scoring criteria.
- Assessing the impact of downtime for each transaction.
