  • Business Situation: Intact Financial Corporation needed to re-strategize their corporate mobile policy due to the influx of personal mobile devices, such as Apple iPhones, being brought into the enterprise environment. Until recently, Intact only supported RIM BlackBerrys.
  • Challenge: Voice and data usage on an individual or department level could not be tracked proactively due to the influx of personal device usage. The informal acceptable use policy did not encompass personal device usage, as Intact only corporately supports Blackberrys. There was sometimes ambiguity for users as to who to contact for support for their mobile devices.
