Business Process Management (BPM) benefits come through increased process effectiveness. For each of three BPM implementation paths, the BPM Benefits and Costs Analysis Tool will assess likely benefits in each of four effectiveness categories:
- Defect rate
- Delay rate
- Cycle time
- Customizability
Based on process characteristics, this tool calculates the dollar value of each of these improvements. It calculates costs based on the number of individuals and tools involved in the implementation, and then compares the costs to benefits.
