Robert Dreyer

Vice President, IT Research

Robert Dreyer the Vice President of IT Research with Info-Tech Research Group. Robert has more than 23 years of consulting experience working with clients to improve the management and use of Information Technology. Robert has extensive experience in IT strategy, management and operational practices including alignment of IT priorities to business objectives and planning.

Prior to joining Info-Tech, Robert provided consulting services to Fortune 500 and small and mid-size firms in a variety of industries as a Partner in Accenture's Strategic IT Effectiveness practice. In that role, he worked with client teams to develop collaborative approaches to improve IT effectiveness and efficiency. He advised client CIO's and other C-level executives on how to leverage and invest in IT to advance and improve business performance. Over his consulting career, Robert has developed expertise in IT strategy, planning and architecture, IT capability assessment and transformation, IT governance, cost management and organization strategy.

Formerly, Robert was with the IBM Consulting Group in Canada. During this time, he developed IT strategies, architectures and plans with clients including Canadian Tire, Ontario Ministry of Health, Air Canada and the City of Toronto.

Early in his career, Robert was a Manager in the Management Information Consulting Division for Arthur Andersen & Co., a former pioneering accounting services firm with a strong IT consultancy division that would become Accenture. He provided a range of Information Technology services to clients.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Mathematics, Honors Computer Science degree from the University of Waterloo and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation from the Canadian Association of Management Consultants.
