Targeted AI Hits the ROI Bullseye for Salesforce

The terms artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, deep learning, and predictive analytics (and others) seem ubiquitous and, in fact, may now be considered table stakes for any mainstream article pertaining to the IT world. Less common are the deep-dive use cases demonstrating that these next generation technologies are worthy of all the marketing hype. In the case of Salesforce.com’s Einstein AI product line, we finally see a business strategy that includes both real-life use-case scenarios in a released product as well as an extensible and scalable platform from which an AI virtuous cycle has the potential to emerge.
