The Value Score indexes each vendor’s product offering and business strength relative to their price point. It does not indicate vendor ranking.

Vendors that score high offer more bang for the buck (e.g. features, usability, stability, etc.) than the average vendor, while the inverse is true for those that score lower.

Mobility is key. Vendors looking to increase VDI adoption know that mobility is a key factor in any solution. Leaders in the space have begun expanding their solutions to the mobile world. VMware Horizon and Citrix CloudGateway are two such examples of this trend.
Not all VDI solutions work with all hypervisors. Look carefully when evaluating solutions for compatibility with existing architecture.
End user is still king. The end-user experience will make or break a desktop virtualization implementation. Each of the solutions included here tries to improve the user experience by various means, including partnerships with thin client vendors and protocol improvements.
