A recent Info-Tech research study polled enterprises that were considering or implementing services to reduce printer costs and centralize device management. The study yielded two seemingly contradictory trend lines; however, when combined, these trends provide an accurate picture of what various-sized enterprises are actually doing. These trends can be assessed by looking at organizations across the following categories:
- Number of Employees
- IT Budget
- Number of PCs
- Strategic Focus
- IT Investment Style
This note presents the trend findings from Info-Tech's research, as well as a prediction that the adoption of printer device management services will increase.
