On May 15, 2006, Infor announced its intentions to acquire SSA Global. This acquisition is good news for mid-sized enterprises that run their ERP applications on System i5. Infor will emerge as the largest System i5 ISV and will continue to support and develop enterprise applications for the beleaguered platform.
