Great experience coordinating with Howard on the workshop, especially around preparing our to-be processes and items our team will be responsible for completing. This framed the work we need to do leading to prioritized investment planning which will eliminate wasted effort on creating business cases which can be deferred. The negative sides of the experience related more to shifting rooms and available resources to support our activities, this is more internal than a result of the workshop.

Andy drove the Value stream mapping exercise by establishing capability model for Group line of business for Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. Andy further decomposed the capabilities by expanding the solution architecture for Enrollment systems to establish solution architecture diagram. Then the solution was broken down to the associated applications, the associated components and the underlying technology and infrastructure. The modelling exercise performed by Andy will be used as a foundation to create end to end architecture content for all of critical applications with eventual goal to embed the content refresh as part of the SDLC practice. This will also prepare us for Hi-trust compliance needs down the road and also help pave the way for Technology Life Cycle Management and Application Life Cycle Management practices. We love Andy and we will leverage his services in future for architecture review and enhancements.
