About Bill Miller

Bill brings almost 40 years of experience as both a business and technology professional. His experience includes:

• Thirty-three years at State Farm Insurance – started as a software developer and progressed through the ranks to IT executive. Led large-scale software support and delivery organizations/projects in providing mission-critical enterprise solutions (both in-house built and third-party software) across State Farm's sales and operations functions. His last five years at State Farm focused on legacy modernization of core policy, billing, and CRM capabilities while opening an "IT Modernization Hub" in Texas.

• Four years as an independent technology consultant aligning technology solutions to business goals including:

o Worked at Kemper Insurance as an IT executive partnering with a business executive to establish a strategic cloud-based policy, billing, claims, and agent sales/service platform to replace and sunset multiple legacy systems.

o Worked at Globe Life Insurance to establish an enterprise IT portfolio management function.

• A year and a half at EIS Group (core insurance software platform provider) as the GM of P&C. This included global responsibility for P&C technology sales across all internal departments at EIS. Bill also led an effort to acquire and transition claims software and people from an external firm to EIS.

Bill spent most of his life in Illinois before moving to Dallas, Texas in 2015. Bill and his wife Cindi reside in McKinney, Texas and both of their sons, their wives, and kids live in north Texas. The entire family enjoys sports of all kinds.
