About Loretta Early

Loretta Early brings to Info-Tech Research Group an award-winning track record for leading organizational transformation to establish IT’s role and contributions as a trusted advisor in optimizing value, increasing agility and resiliency, mitigating risks, and advancing the mission-driven aspirations and growth of the organization. She has served Higher Education for more than 25 years in a variety of executive IT leadership roles at liberal arts, and large public and private Carnegie R1 institutions, including William and Mary, The University of Oklahoma, and The George Washington University.

She served as a National Science Foundation Small Business Innovation Grants panel reviewer and has held positions on numerous advisory boards and councils for technology solution providers such as Adobe, Apple, Cisco, Dell, Microsoft, and Ellucian. She was instrumental in enabling the creation of the Women in Technology organization, bringing together higher education, public, and private sector IT professionals in Oklahoma.

Other leadership achievements include Best Places to Work in IT, InformationWeek 500 Top 50 Business Agility Award, InformationWeek Top 5 Higher Education CIOs, eMerge Americas Top Prize in Global Startup Competition, and IDC Smart Cities North America Awards Finalist.

Loretta describes herself as a servant leader whose work demonstrates a common thread of constant effort to innovate and positively impact the student experience by delivering excellent services, leading a dedicated professional IT team, serving as a strategic advisor, and providing opportunities, coaching, and mentoring for today’s college students and workforce from diverse backgrounds.

Loretta is a graduate from the University of Virginia. She is passionate about serving the higher education industry and has been integrally involved in many aspects of campus life. She expresses: “Although there are tremendous changes ahead for education over the next several years, an educated global society matters now more than ever. As our industry moves into the 21st century, I am convinced that our best days are ahead of us. It is a true blessing to contribute to making that future a reality.”
