What differentiates Globalscape EFT from other similar products?

Once the product is installed and configured it is easy and intuitive to use. There is a lot of granular configuration to do but I see that as a good thing. You can enable/disable features as you choose. There is good auditing visibility and also good troubleshooting capabilities within the software. There are many options to build custom advanced workflows which may included building test files, Excel docs, PDF docs, printing, fixing files, run SQL scripts, etc. We've been able to use it to do small things that may have cost a lot of money to have a vendor develop, but we had the ability to do it ourselves.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to create event rules to transfer files when needed in a quick and easy way.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The search function doesn't find advanced workflows within the event rules.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you plan to use a lot of it's capabilities make sure that you have a dedicated person that can understand security/encryption and has a software development or scripting kind of background.
