What differentiates Broadcom DX APM from other similar products?

We use several APM features and openshift has greatly improved system visibility. The simple and reliable platform does not have any noticeable impact on system performance. Patching and maintaining agent standards is easy.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The software identifies problems with data structure, database queries or web services. I love the ability to troubleshoot applications to determine root cause and RCA.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The speed of the researcher function must be improved to represent data quickly and with fewer errors. Only well-known programs are supported, so it lacks integration. Java 11 is not supported and requires a lot of local resources.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The open source control panel allows you to combine thousands of eyes, snowflakes, webhock and other SMS solutions, as well as insert data from low-cost providers and nagios to monitor laboratory equipment.

It has advanced algorithm to detect anomaly, trends and can be customized. This feature is hidden in other competitive products.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What I like about this APM products is one vendor for all sort of monitoring as there are other rich monitoring capable solutions from same vendor which are widely used and accepted.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Features are not enough competitive with other vendors, complexity in configuring the existing features.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are already using Broadcom products and interested to leverage its APM solution as well then feel free to do this otherwise go for other products in the market.
