Andrew Ng, the leader of global AI strategy at Chinese search giant Baidu, believes artificial intelligence (AI) will become so instrumental to corporate revenue growth that businesses should hire a chief artificial intelligence officer to direct AI initiatives. On the other side of the debate, the chair of artificial intelligence and robotics at Singularity University, Neil Jacobstein, recommends that companies shouldn’t centralize leadership for AI functions.

Warner Bros is developing what some are calling a “reboot” of the Wachowskis’ 1999 science fiction action movie The Matrix that could be a sequel, a prequel, a parallel-quel, a remake, or all or none of them all at once.
