Use the STOP, START, CONTINUE Team Assessment Template to record leader observations for three categories. The document will organize leader assumptions about the team and department. In order to populate the template, reflect on information from:
- Team meetings.
- One-on-one meetings with staff members.
- Project debriefs with staff members.
- General observations as leaders immerse themselves in the department culture.
Early assessments are critical to record so leaders can test their assumptions later on. Furthermore, it will be the last time leaders are able to see their team with fresh eyes.
