Leverage the DR Active Test Evaluation Survey as a method of evaluating the results of the test. The evaluator is expected to audit the questions and add additional questions as needed. As well, the facilitator will distribute and gather the results of the survey from all test participants. The goal of this evaluation survey is to:
- Identify and validate how well the organization is capable of recovering (RTO/RPO).
- Evaluate how well the testing process was capable of identifying relevant gaps and issues with the recovery process.
The results of the survey can be a powerful communication tool, both within the testing teams and also for upper management. These metrics and questions should be tracked and compared for when the test is repeated to further demonstrate growth in DR preparedness.
