Use this example to understand the governance and incident response components of a DRP and to show that your DRP project does not need to be as onerous as imagined.
The case-study client leveraged the following blueprints to create practical, concise, and easy-to-maintain DRP governance and incident response plans:
- Start with the Create a Right-Sized DRP blueprint to clarify DR requirements to meet business needs, and create a high-level Recovery Workflow (e.g. DR incident response plan).
- Continue with Document and Maintain Your DRP blueprint to complete your core DRP documentation.
Note: These blueprints contain additional tools and templates, such as a project charter, to help execute the process, but they are not part of your final DRP and are not included in this example.
