The role of the Sarbanes-Oxley Project Manager is to plan, develop, and implement Sarbanes-Oxley (SarbOx) business projects on time and within budget. In particular, this individual's primary responsibility will be to assess and remedy the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting across the enterprise. The Sarbanes-Oxley Project Manager shall work closely with internal and external audit teams, the IT department, steering committees, accountants, consultants, and other key stakeholders to ensure strict compliance with relevant sections of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
