The Day One Agenda should include all the details of the new hire’s first day. Ideally, time will be allocated for:

  • A tour
  • Introductions to co-workers and management
  • A welcome lunch
  • Orientation

Also consider making time for fun interactive activities – they help bond new hires to their co-workers and the organization.
